Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach an Intellectually Disabled class with 10 students at a Title I school. My students range in age from 4-8 years old and are in TK-2nd grade. The population of my special education classroom has disabilities ranging from Autism to Intellectually Disabled.
I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences despite the needs and age diversity in my classroom.
The train set, kinetic sand, and play money are just some of the resources I have requested to help engage my students.
Because of the diversity in my class, sensory items and cause and effect items are needed. Your donation to this project will help provide the resources that my students need.
