This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are a dual language classroom with a group of curious and eager students. Every Spanish day we sing, we write, we read. As a teacher my main objective is to fully emerge my students and make them fall in love with the Spanish language

Those are my kids. Students that like to collaborate with each other, they work hard and give their best. Our diverse cultural backgrounds make our classroom not only fun but an environment in which learning opportunities pop out at any second.

My Project

My students need new Spanish books such as Click , Clack, Moo, Henry and Mudge and Frog and Toad to read and dream. Times have changed, and students preferences have too. Our books in the Spanish library are quite old, falling apart and kind of boring. When my students are book shopping for their Spanish books I often hear "this book is broken" more often than "this book seems fun." I want for my students to have a fully functional and engaging Spanish library. These books is only the beginning of a transformation.

These books will make a big difference in the way my students feel about their Spanish reading time.

Being able to have enough books to choose from will allow them to develop their language. The appropriate books not only spark kids interest but can change their lives
