My Students

My students attend a district in a small town in East Texas. They all share a love and passion for learning! Our district strives hard to provide our students with as many learning opportunities as it can, but with over half of my students coming from a low socioeconomic background the resources can be limited at times. My students enjoy and appreciate any and all learning opportunities they are given! My students come to me everyday ready to learn, and I strive to motivate them in as many positive ways as I can!

My Project

My students love to do hands on activities all day and are very active. With the Osmo Genius Kits my students will be able to each have their own activity to work on at their own level during stations. The bridge between technology and hand on manipulation is what makes these kits so amazing for little learners like mine. The number lines will allow my students to represent math problems and solve them independently. With access to two of them more students will be able to work at the same time. We will put one on the board at the front of the classroom and one at the back.
