My Students

Reading unlocks doors to many unimaginable worlds. My second and third graders need to find the keys to those doors!

My students are curious and eager learners.

My class consists of 12 special education students who are lively and eager to read everyday! My students are in a self-contained classroom due to their specific learning needs, many of which are literacy based. My school promotes early literacy as much as they can. Many of my students struggle with literacy and I am eager to help them make significant progress!

My Project

My students will use these resources as literacy centers multiple times a week. This will be a fun and educational way for my students to develop the essential reading skills they need to soar to new levels! It is important to me to provide my students with a range of literacy materials in order to reach all learning styles. I want my students to be proud of themselves and what they can accomplish! With these reading materials I can reach readers of all levels in my classroom. These games will allow my students to develop their reading skills in a fun and creative way!

Your donations will help improve the lives of these students by giving them the opportunity to develop their literacy skills in a fun way!

Student engagement is key to learning and these centers will certainly keep my students engaged, which in turn will allow them to keep learning and become lifelong readers! Help me give my students the opportunities they deserve to develop a positive outlook on reading!
