Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our classroom is a lively place filled with learning and fun. We are an ICT class with general education students as well as special education students. Many of our students are English language learners and these supplies will help them learn English and express themselves in multiple ways.

Our students are truly amazing.

We have a mix of general education and special education students. We have many English language learners as well. Our school is a title I school, which means many of our families are considered low income families. We have many immigrant families in our classroom, where parents and students are learning English.

My Project

Our students will use these materials to help master the English language through phonics games. They will use the art supplies to create projects and express themselves in many different ways. They will use the special education tools, such as noise reducing head phones and weighted lap pads, to help them remain calm and comfortable in the classroom.

Our project will improve the classroom by helping us get materials and supplies.

Many of our students do not have the money to provide supplies for the classroom, or even have art supplies at home. Students will be able to learn phonics and English through games and play. The tools will help our special education students get the support they need.
