Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to read, but keeping them engaged with books they WANT to read can be a challenge with the small school library we have. With your donation towards these high-interest fiction texts, I can continue to provide my students with new, exciting stories to keep them wanting to read more and more. The books being purchased include graphic novels, novels in verse, and books under 200 pages to engage even the most reluctant reader. In my classroom, we read for 15 minutes every day, so students fly through books. Maintaining a classroom library filled with the most up-to-date books can be a challenge. Your donation will help me continue to achieve that!
