My Students

I am blessed to have the opportunity to work with a great group of students who happen to have profound physical and cognitive disabilities. My students are always focusing on their abilities rather than their disabilities.

The majority of my students receive free breakfast and lunch.

Most of the materials my students have are from me purchasing myself. My students really brighten my day! They are so appreciative and really would benefit from your assistance. Thank you so much for reading about our project.

My Project

My students enjoy learning about the world and current events therefore the scholastic news subscriptions will be an engaging reading supplement. The students will be able to read and listen to the articles and then their comprehension skills will be assessed which will be helpful with progress monitoring and IEP goals.

My students enjoy listening to chapter books and participating in discussions of each chapter.

I find that the students are really engaged in the books.

The reading materials will be used in large and small group instruction. My class would be so excited to receive these materials.
