This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

To foster a genuine love of reading in my English Language Arts classroom, I'm incorporating Mangas and graphic novels. These visually rich mediums offer compelling narratives that resonate with students, allowing them to explore complex themes, character development, and plot structures in an engaging and accessible way. By providing a selection of these captivating books for independent reading, I aim to combat the challenges posed by outdated materials and external distractions, ultimately cultivating a lifelong passion for literature.
