Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come to school ready to have fun and enjoy learning new things. They have different abilities and need a little help and exciting materials to sustain their attention. The language activity boxes and surprise box will help them engage and participate by providing colorful visuals and tangibles that they can label, match and hold as they learn language and practice different concepts (sizes, sorting, classifying). Letter formation will be very fun using the Wikki Stix for them to form and feel the letters. Lastly, the lamination sheets are an ongoing essential in my class to create the different visuals that I use to facilitate their learning.
