Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students actively work on vocabulary building, and most recently SAT prep. We have programs afterschool to support their learning, and to further accelerate their academic prowess and development.

I am excited to provide new tools such as mini notebooks, composition books, sharpies, post its, headphones and culturally relevant/responsive literature.

The chosen titles reflect the diverse student demographic within our district. These titles offer social, emotional, and mental health themes that will aid our students with everyday challenges.

Additionally, the snacks provide motivation and meet basic nutritional needs to fuel their energy in class and after school.
