My Students

We have an amazingly diverse student body at our Middle School. Our students love to come to school every day and for many of them, look back onto their middle school years as their favorite academic school years. Some common characteristics among our students include an appreciation for cultural diversity, an understanding of shared leadership, tech savviness, creative problem solving and global thinking. Our students work hard everyday and give up their spare time to give back to their local and global community through organizations like Project Linus, Operation Gratitude and Students Rebuild. Our students also demonstrate school pride through their involvement with extra curricular activities including sports teams and after school clubs like Magazine Club, Math Club and Engineering Club.

My students work very hard at school every day and look forward to their creative release once they step into the "Expressions" classroom.

My students attend "Expressions" every day and connect with their inner artist through the creative process! I hope to provide each student with a diverse "Artist Toolbox" to continue to challenge and engage their creative spirit!

My Project

Through the screen printing process my students will be introduced to and understand the graphic art industry. Using the cutting mats with Xacto knives, students will create a stencil that will describe their beliefs through a visual message or icon.

Once the stencil is created, students will use the screen printing kits to print their designs.

These designs can be reprinted over and over again onto t-shirts or bags to be sold as a fundraiser for programs at our school.

Utilizing screen printing kits as a source of creation, advocacy and fundraising our students will experience the entire process of a graphic artist!
