Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Physical education is an important component for students in the elementary level. This is where they begin their journey with maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

As the new year began, many of my 3rd graders set a personal goal of exercising more.

This equipment will support my scholars reach their goal.

Unfortunately, our school only has a PE coach once a week. He brings in his own equipment, leaving my students with no equipment for the rest of the week.

With your help, we can get our students on the right track to start their own journey in regards to their fitness and health. Not only will my students benefit from these materials but so will other students at our campus.

It is essential to showcase new games and exercise activities that encourage students to participate in physical education and help fight childhood obesity!
