My Students

We seriously have some of the best students in our small-town elementary school.

My students are always ready to try something new and because of that, I want to be a better teacher every day.

I want to grow with them!

Our school includes over sixty percent free or reduced-price lunch recipients. Together our community, parents, and staff work to get us everything we need. I am so grateful to have wonderful people like you also partnering with us to help get our students everything they so deserve.

Although this year may look a little different whether in person, online, or a mix of both, I know we'll build our classroom community and become the family we always are.

I am teaching four sections of STEM classes at four different grade levels in our middle school. My classes are STEM, Robotics, Digital Applications, and Pre-engineering design. I am loving all the unique learning that is happening.

My Project

My pre-engineering class has already started coding, working with robots, building 3D designs, and working with many other digital tools. We are getting ready to start creating vinyl projects.

Design is a universal language where students can be as creative as they would like.

Currently we have one Cricut in our classroom that has limited possibilities. This new Cricut Maker will be able to allow more students to create and design, plus it would open up new design features and allow us to create even more things. I want my students to be able to take designing as far as they want to. Students will also learn about the cost of creating custom items.

The cutter and tape measure will allow us to cut our vinyl to the correct measurements. The vinyl heat transfer will be used to add designs to materials of the students choose.
