This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Imagine... 24 Chromebooks at maximum volume, playing 24 different audiobooks simultaneously! As the grade level lead, I'm seeking headphones for my first-grade team. We're building the essential foundation for literacy. Learning to sound out words, write them, and express creative ideas is crucial for future academic success. However, distractions and difficulty hearing their own voices can hinder this process.

Our goal for this project is to improve phonemic awareness and spelling skills, as well as increase students' focus and concentration.

Our students are special because of their curiosity, creativity, kindness, and unlimited potential to learn and grow, even in the face of adversity.
