My Project

As students begin the new school year, they will be impacted by much of societies ups and downs. One of the most impactful events that is affecting everyone, is the cost of living and inflation. This year students will take the journey of learning about financial literacy through classroom projects and management tools.

While engaged in classroom activities students will learn about supply and demand as well as interest rates through games, mathematics assignments and daily classroom earning.

Students will understand what it means to earn, have and spend money.

In order to accomplish this goal they will utilize the classroom dollars during lessons as well as to purchase and receive goods. This will take place in our financial literacy area which will be highlighted by the use of the area rug. Students will have an area to come together to learn all about how money impacts their day to day lives.

Our students will learn about financial literacy early in life rather than later. This will in turn teach them to make financial smart decision as adults.
