Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is expanding and our school family works together building our classroom family environment. The students are incredibly hardworking and amazing. They love to interact with each other and LOVE getting up and dancing! They are lively 8-9 year olds who love hands-on experiences topped with integrated technology!

In a world where technology is ever present and a time when technology is required to learn, students must be given the best opportunities to succeed!

Most students do not have access to computers for their learning, and therefore do not have full functionality during their school day. Through the integration an iPad and its accessories, we will utilize apps to design activities, creating a more interactive experience and allow our classroom family the opportunity to engage in a way they may not be able to without full technology.

My Project

Setting student-specific goals is my passion! Our classroom is always filled with cross-curricular problem-solving opportunities to encourage students to reach objectives. The Apple Pencil will aid this by allowing the viewing of step by step processes to foster high order thinking strategies.

Grace Over Grades while allowing opportunities for problem solving is so important in our classroom.

I want to ensure students are still reaching for high expectations to foster confidence despite distance learning, but also create a familiar atmosphere where they see writing using the Apple Pencil as they do in the classroom.
