This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Headphones are essential every day in our classroom. We use them at least three times a day. With many of our headphones broken, students are having to work without them which is hard to do when you hear distractions throughout the classroom.

Without working headphones, it is extremely difficult for my students to concentrate and complete their assigned online activities such as our science lessons or iReady lessons.

Because headphones do not last forever, there is a constant need for new headphones. Students also cannot share headphones as we have in previous school years. While it would be ideal for each student to bring their own headphones, this isn't something that happens. My students need these headphones to be successful. Headphones are essential to continue supporting my students academically! The bench will be used for students to be able to sit comfortably while working on their lessons.
