My Project

The materials in this project were inspired by the warmer weather and a trip to a Kid's Gym. My students love to play outside, but our playground is under construction. I want to show them some great options for movement, coordination, and cooperation in the temporary outdoor play space.

Hula hoops, balance beams, soccer balls, and a build-your-own-obstacle course will create exciting new opportunities!

Large-motor play is essential for growing bodies. Our usual climbing structures aren't available right now. I'm looking for replacements that practice balance, creativity, and taking turns.
