Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a first grade special education classroom teacher . There are about 25 students in first grade physically attending school and our class has been divided into three sections to keep social distancing.

Majority of our students come from low income families, shelters, and temporary housing households.

Students look forward to eating their day meals and snacks in classroom now that the cafeteria is closed because of Covid-19. It takes a lot of cleaning and we use a lot of cleaning products to keep the class clean and germ free. The supply provided to us by the Department of Education is exhausting fast in my first grade class. Please help us buy cleaning products so we can keep our young students safe during Covid.

My Project

It is very important for me to keep tables sanitized as my students eat their daily meals and snacks on them. I teach first grade special education class. We do have accidents and in the class I am their teacher and I am their mother as well! As they learn how to be independent they spill and spread while eating in class. I have to constantly clean the classroom surfaces and that takes a lot of cleaning supplies. Cleaning is important now more than ever before! Help me please so I can keep my young learners healthy and safe during COVID times. Your help is much appreciated by us and trust me by my students as well !! Thank you!
