My students are so curious and always ask questions about buildings. They want to know the height of our school building, what it’s made of, and how strong it is. Ever since reading various adaptations of The Three Little Pigs, they want to learn more about building in general. With your support I will be able to provide them with hands-on learning material to meet their interest in our new study of Buildings.
The magnetic construction vehicles, an engineering center, blocks, and other materials I am requesting will enable my students to be young architects designing their own towers, buildings and more.
They will build with specials kits that will help them focus on questions like How are houses designed? What shapes do you see in buildings? What makes them strong? In addition, they will also have the opportunity to build a variety of construction vehicles like a dump truck, a cement mixer, a front loader and a backhoe.
