Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our scholars are extremely diverse learners. Many of them are learning English. We have learned that our students are incredibly creative. Learning letters and sounds while cutting and pasting can be boring. When they are given crayons, the world is their canvas. They are engaged and love working cooperatively together to complete tasks with the use of crayons. For many of our students, this is their first time in school and their first time using crayons. Unfortunately funds for these resources have run out at this time of year. We are hoping to get more crayons to continue on our learning journey.
