My Students

Welcome to my Pre-K classroom! We are a happy group of 4-year-olds who are eager and happy to learn! Can you hear us singing? Can you hear us playing? We are ready to learn and succeed!

We are an inviting and curious group of children!

Science is our favorite subject because we LOVE animals! We are an attentive group that lives in the Harlem neighborhood of NYC. We are a Title I school and many of us come from further neighborhoods just to be a part of our fabulous school.

My Project

It is so important to put technology in the hands of kids whenever and wherever it's appropriate. Technology lifts student achievement and enhances engagement among students. Laptops in the classroom promote everyday skills such as technological proficiency and problem-solving.

Younger students learn more efficiently using technology.

Young children are going to be using all the skills from their computer classes in the future. Research has found that when schools provide students with laptops for use in the classroom, learning improved in a number of subjects, including science, math, and English. Laptops can be a very efficient and helpful tool in the classroom. My students will be able to use this requested laptop to access information regarding their interests or topics being explored in the class, have ebooks read aloud while they follow along, learn letters and sounds through interactive sites, and create designs to be implemented in the block and art centers.
