Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our first grade integrated co-teaching (ICT) classroom is a fun and positive learning space where our students can learn and grow. Our students are eager to learn and love school! Students in our classroom learn in many ways. We teach our students using parallel teaching and team teaching. We also provide small group instruction. We also learn through projects and outdoor experiences.

Our year-long study focuses on water.

Students learn about different bodies of water and how they can become water protectors. They will test the water to determine whether it is a viable habitat for oysters and trout. Lastly, students will write an information book about their chosen animals. We need these materials for a successful project.
