My Project

My students are curious critical thinkers. They love learning about the ins and out of biology and how we got to know what wee know!

In the Spring semester of our college Biology class, we will be exploring genetics: from our the DBNA in our cells replicate, how the cell divides to understanding how sex cells are produces and what are the factors that drive genetic variation!

They will further understand the different patterns of inheritance and why they may not have inherited the exact same physical traits as their parents or siblings!

The book that I am requested will be the perfect addition to our curriculum. The author, Dr. Siddhartha Mukherjee is a talented writer and explores the science of life in a captivating fashion. He explores in details the work of famous scientists such as Watson, Crick, Mendel, Darwin, and Franklin.

I am so excited to share this book with my students and further deepen their love of learning about Biology!
