Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

A typical day in my classroom includes 21 kindergarteners ready to learn! They are eager to soak in all the information that I will be teaching them. By the end of the school year, I want all my students to be reading, understand math, and to become science fanatics. My biggest challenge is technology!

This school year I have a very diverse class.

I have students with different abilities. I have children that receive speech therapy, students with learning disabilities, and students with physical impairments. 95% of our school is on free or reduced lunch. I teach low income students with limited access to technology for us to take advantage of.

My Project

With the iPads in the classroom, the students will be able to research information for science. They will be able to access different math apps to work on their learning level. They will also be able to use them to read and write stories! Technology is limited at our school. Our computers are very old and, these iPads will help tremendously!

These iPads will improve my classroom, because my students will have access to different resources outside of the classroom.

They will be able to work independently on projects, and advance in their academics!
