My Project

It is estimated that 1 out of 10 people have dyslexia. My students need specialized instruction and sensory materials to be successful and learn to read.

Between 70% and 80% of people harboring limited reading proficiency suffer from dyslexia.

Help me make a real difference in the lives of children with learning differences. Most people with dyslexia are, at least, average or above-average IQ. Individuals with dyslexia have high levels of empathy. They are excellent big-picture thinkers. They have strong narrative reasoning and they are creative. It is not related to intelligence at all. More than 50% of NASA employees are dyslexic. The materials listed in my project are needed to support the progress and advancement of my students identified and having dyslexia.
