Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My wonderful and curious 5th grade students love learning about our physical world! They have become so interested in the ways in which we can help our planet be more sustainable, for example, how we can use less, repurpose things, and recycle - and how to recycle. We are learning how to prevent the polluting of our waters, and most importantly, how they can help contribute for their own future. Students' eyes and brains light up as they study about how species of plants and animals rely on each other in the ecosystems. Please help us foster this amazing time of learning with materials such as markers, paint, and cardstock for fun and educational projects of art and love.
