Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are part of a school that aims to see every student succeed regardless of their background. We work hard to find each child's unique strength and encourage them to use that strength. Our kindergarten is composed of 24 students with diverse language and learning needs. They are a creative, happy, and curious group. They enjoy learning through doing and are amazed by the world around them. They love to create and explore as they learn to become better and better problem solvers.

My Project

I have learned so much as a teacher this past year. One of the areas I grew in the most was in the use of technology and apps to deliver high-quality and engaging virtual lessons. As we get ready to go back into the classroom, I want to continue using these tools in class to deliver lessons. The Ipevo pen will help me turn my whiteboard into an interactive whiteboard. With the pen, I will be able to use my goggle slide decks and the different apps that became essential to my class during remote learning. The microphone will help me better project my voice as we maintain social distancing and it will also enable my students to hear me better through a mask. The clicker will help me control my laptop from afar.
