My Students

I teach an Intellectually Disabled class with ten students at a Title l School. My students range in ages from 4-8 years old and are in TK-2nd grade. The population of my special education classroom has disabilities ranging from Autism to Intellectually Disabled.

I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences despite the needs and age diversity in my classroom.

Many of my students have sensory needs that your donation will help provide.

My Project

We are ready to get back into the classroom! My students love inset puzzles and they are great help with hand/eye coordination and fine motor skills. Coloring books are a great way to encourage creativity, motor planning and helping students to hold a crayon using a tripod grasp. The Pop Fidget toys will be great in assisting my students with sensory needs.

Transitioning back to in-person learning may be challenging, but we got this!

The storage bins will help organize my class so we can keep student's supplies separated and clean.
