This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 1st grade scholars are working on research projects helping them to become EXPERTS on various topics they will like to learn about. These book will help them in their writing process as well as help them continue to learn how to use a Non Fiction books and well as use the text features to help them as they research topics and become experts on that topic as well as become better writers. My goal for this project is to give my scholars the tools, materials and resources that they will need to become successful experts on the topics that they are researching. My scholars are special because they are getting ready for 2nd grade and they are learning to use their voice in their education, when it comes to what they are interested in learning and becoming experts in.
