This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We are an environmental science focused school seeking materials to help our students learn ways to be more eco-friendly in fun and interactive ways.

Our School

Children learn best with hands-on and interactive materials. My students attend a Title I school that is environmentally science focused school with a garden with a compost and farm with animals such as sheep, chickens and turtles. The farm and garden allow for direct and hands on learning outdoors.

The Project

Help me expand environmental awareness inside our classrooms. These Earth and Environment theme boxes will deepen their knowledge about the importance of environmental protection and conservation as an Eco-Friendly Learning Center that will travel around periodically to each classroom.
