Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
Students will use these books and people cut-outs in a beginning of the year project where they will make themselves as different types of engineers! We will read books that include diverse representations of different types of engineers. They will then use the people cutouts and other materials to make themselves as the type of engineer they are interested in.
Your donation would help me to build up my engineering classroom library, provide a comfortable rug for students while they read, and in addition, the people cutouts would give them a chance to represent themselves as engineers!
It is important that my students see different representations of engineers, and that they know this is a potential career option for themselves in the future! Thank you for your support in providing engineering books for my students!
