Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are caring, resilient, and the most determined kids! They come from all walks of life. Many of my kids have experienced things that no child should ever have to deal with. My school is a title 1 school and a vast majority of the students come from low-income families.

Despite the different adversities my students face, they still come to school with a positive attitude, a smile on their faces, and a hunger to do better.

My kids make me excited to come to work every day. They motivate me to not only be a better teacher but a better human being.

My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy-I read on the carpet, they complete work there, and they read independently! Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read. All of these books, earbuds, and other materials have been chosen with my students interests in mind. Having interesting books to choose from will motivate my students to continue reading and help them become stronger, radiant readers. The supplies I am asking for will help my students flourish in our classroom daily. They will have items that will enhance their learning readily available to them, because nothing can stop them!
