Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Empowering my students to learn and grow is one of my favorite rewards of teaching. Given the opportunity to analyze their work and set goals for improvement, helps my students grow academically, become more responsible and accountable for their own learning, and motivates them to succeed by setting personal learning goals. This data can easily be stored in a binder, however, my binders have seen better days. The binders that I am currently using have been used for the past 5 school years and it is time they are retired.

Having access to their own Avery 1" 3-Ring View Binder, will allow my students to organize their learning goals, graph their learning data, and keep all of their progress stored in one organized space, their Data Notebook.

Data notebooks have provided my students with specific, individual information about their academic strengths and weaknesses. These tools have helped my students become more interested in their learning and understand more about what they are doing and why.
