My Students

My students come to school every day excited and ready to learn! They are eager to learn and try new things. I want them to know that I believe in them and they can do anything! I teach at a Title I Pre-K through 2nd-grade school in inner-city Ohio where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Most of the students are living at or below the poverty line. My students are creative, caring, and very energetic. Our classroom is a hands-on learning community. I work with children who are 3, 4, and 5 years old.

Their ability to love learning excites me to find new and exciting ways to teach things to them.

They love to learn about new things. They love to look up information online together and will ask many questions to learn as much as they can.

My Project

My students come to school excited to learn every day. Art is one of the subject areas that my children enjoy the most. The art table is open every day and we enjoy letting the student show us how creative they can be with open-ended art.

My students are in need of watercolors, glitter glue, glue sticks, and glue guns to create their masterpieces.

We will use watercolors and glitter glue to make beautiful works of art. Glue sticks and glue guns will be used to hang all the beautiful work that the artist make.

My students don't have the luxury of being able to buy these materials for their own because of being from low-income families. They would be so excited to have these new items available in our classroom for them to use at the art table.
