My Project

STEM-related jobs are becoming more common each year. As a STEM specialist, I want to provide my students with the opportunity to be see themselves as scientists, engineers, problem-solvers, and collaborative learners. By providing students with the materials interlocking disc sets they need to be creative and curious, my hopes are to encourage them to build a love for STEM that they will carry throughout their whole lives.

My youngest STEM students need more structured hands-on materials to help them begin exploring their STEM brains in our STEM lab.

In STEM, we will be exploring real life problems and coming up with ideas for how to solve them by using the engineering process. Access to materials such as K'Nex and Hexbugs will get students excited about building, creating and being makers!
