Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I absolutely love how engaged and curious my students are. They bring a unique energy to the classroom that makes teaching such a joy. Each day, they eagerly dive into new challenges, ask insightful questions, and support each other’s learning. I truly believe that when they feel comfortable and focused, they can achieve incredible things.

The tennis balls I’m requesting will help minimize distractions and create a quieter, more conducive environment for learning.

As my students are very active, the noise from their chairs scraping across the floor often interrupts their concentration. With tennis balls on the bottoms of the chair legs, they’ll be able to move freely without causing disruptive noise. This will help them stay focused on their tasks, whether they’re collaborating on projects, working independently, or participating in group discussions.

My goal for this project is to give my students the tools they need to stay engaged, active, and focused in a way that doesn’t disrupt the learning of others. A quieter environment will support all learners in staying on track and interacting without distraction. I’m hopeful that these small changes can make a big impact on the overall atmosphere of the classroom, helping every student reach their full potential.

What makes my students special is their boundless enthusiasm and willingness to learn. They each bring a different perspective and strength to the class, and their diversity makes our classroom dynamic and exciting. With a little adjustment to the environment, I’m confident that they’ll thrive even more.
