My Students

The students in my classroom are not just students to me and my co-teacher, they are our kids. They teach, inspire and learn not only from us but from one another every day. People hardly believe teachers when we say that our class is an extension of our family. You never know the role you will play with each student. In 5 short months, I have been a teacher, a nurse, a friend and most important to me, a student, because of what my students have taught me about being a good person. At five, the world isn't the place we as adults see it as, and seeing the world through the eyes of my students is an experience that never gets old.

My Project

Our students need these kits to help them explore science, within our classroom, because we lack the ability to attend science in our school. Many of our students have never been exposed to science in the classroom, with them being on the younger side. Bringing science into the classroom, through projects, lights the faces of our students up. When we tell the kiddos that we will be doing science, they instantly get excited, which as teachers, makes us even more excited. These STEM kits are going to be able to allow our students to do "science" on their own within the classroom.
