Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In preparation for spring, my students are going to use watercolor paints in order to paint their own spring-related artwork. According to sixth and seventh grade curricula, my students must attain applicable knowledge about VAPA (Visual and Performing Arts). These items will enable them to discover the joy in painting. It will show their parents what they are learning in class.
Best of all-- Watercolor pallettes encourage hands-on learning.
The blend of water and colors on paper will create expressionism. The intermix of primary colors will create new colors that will delight my students scientific senses.
