My Students

My students range from kindergarten to sixth grade and each and every one of them come to art class enthusiastic and excited about the art they are about to create. My students love to give their ideas for topics for art lessons or mediums they would like to try.

When passing in the hall students are so eager to find out what we will be doing next and love to stand and admire all the artwork that is on display.

My Project

My students love to paint, and I would love to add some quality watercolor sets and proper watercolor brushes to my art cart. This will allow my students an equal opportunity to continue their exploration of using watercolor as a medium for their artwork.

Students will enjoy the versatility and expressive results of using watercolor.

The first and second graders have been studying artworks and experimenting with the painting styles of Georgia O'Keefe, Henri Matisse, and Heather Brown. They have enjoyed learning the techniques on how to make painting with watercolor successful. My students are eager to create their own Watercolor Wonders!
