This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is to help bring water to our garden area. We are having difficulty getting water to our garden. Therefore, it has been put on hold and our students are sad about not being able to garden. We are in need of a battery, solar panel, water pump, and controller in order to pull water from a water tank to provide water to the garden.

Our students will learn through doing with this project.

They will build a box, and connect the equipment to be able to pull water from the water tank. They will also learn how to plan garden plots, cultivate them, plant, and learn how much water each variety of plant needs. All this will teach them how to be self sufficient if they want to be in the future.

Our garden makes our students happy. Without these items we may not be able to have a garden anymore.
