Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are inquisitive and fun loving! They are starving for knowledge. My K-1 children are like a sponge.

My students are on the Autistic Spectrum, and they want what all children want, which is to have fun, be accepted by their peers and mentors, feel safe and comforted, and to explore the world around them.

They love to experience and learn new things.

My Project

These books will help my students become life long readers. My students love to look at books independently and and in groups. I look to stimulate their thinking and creativity. My students enjoy being read to and reading on their own.

I would love for my students to have a variety of books that interest them and that are at their level, having choices will keep them motivated and excited about reading!

My students already have shown such a great interest in reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences words and pictures.
