Washers are Not Supposed to Shake, Rattle and Roll

My Project

You may remember that almost two years ago we got a washer and dryer for the Art room. It has become an essential tool not only for my class but it is used to stop the stink for Coaches uniforms, and clean up for the kitchen linens. So helpful!! Our school smells fresh. But we had an unexpected turn with our washer. It is only a few months out of it's warranty and has started this terrible shaking. I'm afraid it will go through the wall or spin itself into oblivion. We got a repair person in and they informed us it was a faulty part that he has seen before - a manufacturers defect where two of the screws that hold the drum level have sheared off.

We can't live without a washer.

Everyone, without fail, who comes into my room complains of the smell. I can wash but I have to stop it at the spin cycle. I need to replace the washer. The problem is, it's not in my budget to do so. I need your help. Can we rally together and replace this beast? I miss having clean washcloths and aprons everyday. I miss the smell of freshly cleaned everything. And I think the kids are ready to mutiny.
