This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Creating a space for children to exchange their dirty clothes for clean clothes. A number of students may not have access to a washer/dryer machine. A number of students will attend school in clothing that is not clean or fresh. Unfortunately, this allows opportunities for bullying or teasing of the student. To combat such behavior, I would like to allow students an opportunity to exchange their dirty school uniform clothes for a cleaner uniform. The idea is for the student to replace the dirty uniform with a clean uniform. We will clean that student's uniform and return it to them at the end of the day.
