Warrior Student Athletic Excellence

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The Warrior strength and conditioning program is progressing very well and the student athletes are becoming increasingly successful in the weight room. However, part of this success is continuing to identify and address things in both that program and weight room that need to be improved.

One of the goals in the weight room this year is to continue to help the student athletes minimize their injury risk with a carefully crafted and well written year round strength and conditioning program.

This goal is driving the need for pull up bands and hip bands for injury prevention exercises and movements. Both would serve to accelerate the current development of the student athletes that utilize the room both during class and after school.
