My Project

This project will provide daily snacks for the classroom, snacks for hungry students to take home, umbrellas for the rainy season, and a set of hat-gloves-scarf for winter.

We do not always know which students are experiencing food shortages at home, or which do not have access to warm winter clothes - this project will provide the necessities for all students in our classroom.

It can be very embarrassing for parents to request support from the school office for food needs, clothing needs, and warmth needs. There is definitely a need at my school.

Every year we run out of classroom snacks. There are days our students are too hungry to make it to lunch. There is not enough money in our school budget to feed the kindergarteners/first graders in my combined grade level classroom a daily snack. This project will make a world of difference to the stability and happiness of my students in our classroom community.

Imagine you do not have an umbrella and you live in a famously rainy city. Imagine you do not have a hat or gloves on a icy day. Imagine your tummy is growling and your teacher said there are no more snacks. NOW imagine everyone in your class has matching hats, scarves, and gloves! Imagine EVERYONE in your class has a matching umbrella to keep healthy and dry during the rainy months. IMAGINE there is enough snack to last the whole school year!

This dream can become a reality for my amazing class in the 2024-25 school year. Please help my dream come true.
