This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

How will the specific items you’re requesting make a difference in their learning?

The Epson EcoTank printer will allow my students to bring their learning to life by printing high-quality, colorful infographics that educate others about hunger and homelessness.

Instead of just researching and discussing these issues, they will create visual, real-world projects that can be shared within our school and community. This hands-on experience will help them develop critical thinking, design skills, and social awareness while making a tangible impact.

What are your goals for this project?

Raise Awareness: Teach students about hunger and homelessness and inspire them to take action.

Develop Research & Communication Skills: Encourage students to gather data, summarize key points, and present their findings in a clear, engaging way.

Enhance Creativity & Technology Use: Use digital tools to design infographics and print professional-looking materials with the Epson EcoTank printer.

Create Community Engagement: Display the students' work in hallways, community centers, or local shelters to spread awareness and encourage support.

What makes your students special?

My students are curious, compassionate, and eager to make a difference in the world around them. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique perspectives to our classroom discussions. Despite their young age, they are deeply empathetic and passionate about helping others. By providing them with the right tools, I know they will create meaningful projects that inspire change in our school and community.
