My Students

Most of my students come from low-income neighborhoods and attend a hundred plus year old school with very old facilities. They know they do not have the best when it comes to facilities, but I would like to give them the best materials possible!

The students deserve the best learning environment, but do not always have the most current resources that will help them be successful.

These students span from ninth to twelfth grade and typically struggle with science. Many have special needs including learning disabilities. They deserve to have the best tools and tech available to help them achieve academically.

My Project

The items requested in this project are all about the well-being of my students. The gloves and hats will serve the students at my school who do not have the resources to purchase their own. Winter is here and my students need warm items. The snacks requested will be used in my classroom for the students who forget their lunch or need an extra bite of food during the day. The bandages, in a full spectrum of skin colors, will help my students feel accepted and respected for who they are.

The gloves, hats, snacks, and bandages will keep my students feeling warm, well-fed, and welcome in my classroom.

These items help those students who need them the most.
