Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For this proposal, I am requesting wall paper, LED lights, salt lamp, neon sign, and a rug to create a warm learning environment. Our classrooms have no windows and cold, grey cinderblock walls reminiscent of an institution, that lacks warmth and comfort. With, these items, I foresee my students feeling more welcome, loved, cared for and feeling more enthusiastic and encourages to work and learn. The rug will allow for softer walking and a more home like feeling, while the wall paper will cover the awful cinderblocks. When students feel better, they learn better. I want my kiddo to know that I care for them as human beings with worth and value and that others see them that way as well.
