My Project

The items we are requesting, such as warm clothing (hats, gloves, clothes, and scarves) will create a more comfortable and conducive learning environment for our students.

As a Title I, Tier 4 school in Georgia, many of our students face financial hardships that can prevent them from having access to basic needs, including warmth during the colder months.

When students are warm, they are better able to focus on their lessons and fully engage in classroom activities. Cold classrooms can cause distractions and physical discomfort, which can interfere with their ability to concentrate and retain information. By providing warmth, we remove a potential barrier to learning, allowing students to direct their energy toward their education rather than worrying about being cold.

The primary goal of this project is to ensure that all students have the necessary warmth and comfort to fully participate in their education, especially during the colder months. As a Title I, Tier 4 school in Georgia, we serve a high percentage of students from low-income families who may struggle to afford warm clothing and supplies. By providing warm clothing, blankets, and other resources, we aim to:

Enhance students' ability to concentrate, Increase attendance and engagement, support emotional well-being, and equal opportunity through, Physical comfort and ensuring that every student has access to warmth, regardless of their financial situation, will help level the playing field and give them the best chance to succeed.

Our students come from diverse backgrounds, each with their own unique strengths, challenges, and perspectives. Despite these obstacles, our students show incredible resilience, determination, and a passion for learning. They are eager to succeed and overcome the challenges they face in their daily lives. This project will allow us to address a critical need—ensuring that all students feel safe, and supported.
